  • Volodymyr Zelenskiy
Volodymyr Zelenskiy “Bolstering Ukraine's air defence and expediting the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine are vital tasks. There are no rational explanations for why Patriots, which are plentiful around the world, are still not covering the skies of Kharkiv and other cities.” 15 hours ago
  • Ana Piquer
Ana Piquer “Reducing gang violence by replacing it with state violence cannot be a success. The Salvadoran government had adopted disproportionate measures, denying, minimising and concealing human rights violations. Bukele had created a false illusion that he had found the magic formula to solve the very complex problems of violence and criminality in a seemingly simple way. The international community must respond in a robust, articulate and forceful manner, condemning any model of public security that is based on human rights violations.” 19 hours ago
  • Xi Jinping
Xi Jinping “China is building a first-class business environment that is market oriented. In traditional areas like trade and new ones such as climate change and artificial intelligence, China and the United States should become boosters for each other's development, not obstructions on each other.” 19 hours ago
  • Benjamin Netanyahu
Benjamin Netanyahu “I thought the US decision in the Security Council was a very, very bad move. The worst part about it was that it encouraged Hamas to take a hard line and to believe that international pressure will prevent Israel from freeing the hostages and destroying Hamas. It [the cancellation of a planned visit to Washington by Israeli top aides] was a message first and foremost to Hamas: 'Don't bet on this pressure, it's not going to work'. I hope they got the message.” 19 hours ago

“The Ukrainian armed forces are suffering serious losses along the entire front line. The Ukrainian counteroffensive had so far produced no results. The United States and its allies continue to arm the armed forces of Ukraine, and the Kyiv regime throws untrained soldiers to their slaughter in senseless assaults.”

“If Prigozhin really withdrew, this would be much too quick for the Russian regular armed forces to take over the positions of the Wagner fighters in and around Bakhmut. If he really means it … this would give the Ukrainian armed forces the opportunity to seize parts, or the whole of Bakhmut from the Russians. This would be a disaster for Putin and Shoigu.”

“The military operations of the Ukrainian armed forces around Kharkiv, especially north and northeast of Kharkiv, are sort of a success story. The Ukrainian army was able to push these war criminals to a line beyond the reach of their artillery.”

“The preservation and development of Ukraine's neutral status, a demilitarization of Ukraine, a whole range of issues related to the size of the Ukrainian armed forces are being discussed. Ukraine is proposing the Austrian, Swedish versions of a neutral demilitarized state, which is a state that has an army and a navy. All these issues are being discussed at the level of the leadership of the Russian and Ukrainian defense ministries. Ukraine holds neutrality at the moment. Neutrality is enshrined in Ukraine's Declaration of Sovereignty and was the condition under which Ukraine seceded from the Soviet Union. Certainly, the key issue for us is the status of Crimea and Donbass and some humanitarian issues including de-Nazification, the rights of Russian-speaking people and the status of the Russian language and so on.”

“I am addressing the residents of the temporarily occupied territories: don't believe the falsehoods circulated by the occupation authorities! You're being used for escalating the situation [...] The allegation that sabotage groups from the [Ukrainian] Joint Forces planned to blow up chlorine at sewerage facilities in Horlivka are absolutely untrue. The statements [...] alleging that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are planning an offensive and the liberation of the temporarily occupied territories by force are untrue. The information presented by me has also been confirmed by the OSCE. I am reiterating that the state's military-political leadership is not planning and is not conducting offensive operations in eastern Ukraine. An offensive operation in Donbas would definitely cause numerous civilian casualties, and therefore, such scenarios are not even under consideration.”
