Ursula von der Leyen “I am following the situation in Georgia with great concern and condemn the violence on the streets of Tbilisi. The European Union has also clearly expressed its concerns regarding the law on foreign influence. The Georgian people want a European future for their country.” 20 hours ago
  • Oleksandr Kozachenko
Oleksandr Kozachenko “If we compare it with the beginning (of the Russian invasion), when we fired up to 100 shells a day, then now, when we fire 30 shells it's a luxury. Sometimes the number of shells fired daily is in single digits.” 21 hours ago
  • Abdallah al-Dardari

“Russia has never respected the treaties it concludes regarding Moldova. Let's remember the decision of 1999 at the OSCE summit in Istanbul, by which Russia undertook to withdraw its troops from the territory of Moldova by 2002. In 2021, they promised again, without respecting this, what they also promised in 1999.”

“I am addressing the residents of the temporarily occupied territories: don't believe the falsehoods circulated by the occupation authorities! You're being used for escalating the situation [...] The allegation that sabotage groups from the [Ukrainian] Joint Forces planned to blow up chlorine at sewerage facilities in Horlivka are absolutely untrue. The statements [...] alleging that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are planning an offensive and the liberation of the temporarily occupied territories by force are untrue. The information presented by me has also been confirmed by the OSCE. I am reiterating that the state's military-political leadership is not planning and is not conducting offensive operations in eastern Ukraine. An offensive operation in Donbas would definitely cause numerous civilian casualties, and therefore, such scenarios are not even under consideration.”

“The OSCE [Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe] informed the participating states of the decision by 'a number of countries' to relocate their national staff of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine 'due to deteriorating security conditions'. These decisions cannot but cause our serious concern. The OSCE move further inflamed tensions over Ukraine. The monitoring mission could be used as a tool to stage a possible provocation. We call on the OSCE leadership to resolutely stop attempts to manipulate the mission and prevent the organization from being drawn into dirty political games.”
