  • Volodymyr Zelenskiy
Volodymyr Zelenskiy “Bolstering Ukraine's air defence and expediting the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine are vital tasks. There are no rational explanations for why Patriots, which are plentiful around the world, are still not covering the skies of Kharkiv and other cities.” 18 hours ago
  • Ana Piquer
Ana Piquer “Reducing gang violence by replacing it with state violence cannot be a success. The Salvadoran government had adopted disproportionate measures, denying, minimising and concealing human rights violations. Bukele had created a false illusion that he had found the magic formula to solve the very complex problems of violence and criminality in a seemingly simple way. The international community must respond in a robust, articulate and forceful manner, condemning any model of public security that is based on human rights violations.” 22 hours ago
  • Xi Jinping
Xi Jinping “China is building a first-class business environment that is market oriented. In traditional areas like trade and new ones such as climate change and artificial intelligence, China and the United States should become boosters for each other's development, not obstructions on each other.” 22 hours ago
  • Benjamin Netanyahu
Benjamin Netanyahu “I thought the US decision in the Security Council was a very, very bad move. The worst part about it was that it encouraged Hamas to take a hard line and to believe that international pressure will prevent Israel from freeing the hostages and destroying Hamas. It [the cancellation of a planned visit to Washington by Israeli top aides] was a message first and foremost to Hamas: 'Don't bet on this pressure, it's not going to work'. I hope they got the message.” 22 hours ago

“Russia cherishes its strong ties with Latin America, Asia and Africa, and is ready to offer partners and allies the most modern types of weapons - from small arms to armoured vehicles and artillery, combat aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles. Almost all of them have been used more than once in real combat operations. We are talking about high-precision weapons and robotics, about combat systems based on new physical principles. Many of them are years, or maybe decades ahead of their foreign counterparts, and in terms of tactical and technical characteristics they are significantly superior to them. I want to emphasise that Russia stands for the broadest comprehensive development [and] military-technical cooperation. Today in conditions of confidence in the emerging multipolar world, this is especially important. We highly appreciate the fact that our country has many like-minded allies and partners on different continents. These are the states that do not succumb to the so-called hegemon. Their leaders show a real masculine character and do not bend.”

“This is a shameful move by the evil Ortega regime. Communist China's growing influence is a cancer in Latin America & poses danger to our entire hemisphere. The U.S. must oppose this intervention by standing with Taiwan & keeping up the fight for democracy across LATAM.”

China will continue to provide support to Latin American and Caribbean countries to the best of its capability, and help the regional countries overcome the pandemic at an early date and resume economic and social development. China is willing to work with Latin American and Caribbean countries to overcome difficulties together and jointly create opportunities to build a community of shared future between China and Latin America.”

“Western countries blame China for everything it does… If China doesn't provide the vaccine to Latin American countries, China will be accused of not taking up its international responsibilities. If China provides the vaccine, there will be other conspiracy theories.”

“Both China and the US, as capable countries, should extend a helping hand to other countries in need, rather than use vaccines as a tool of competition and turn the issue of global public health products into a geopolitical one. Latin American countries have been exploited by the US. The attitude of the US toward Latin American countries on vaccines once again demonstrates its utilitarianism, which is to use what can be used and discard what cannot be used.”
