“It's not unusual for North Korea to use media reports and imagery to try to telegraph, you know, to the world. From a U.S. standpoint, again, our focus is on working with our regional allies and partners to include the ROK and Japan on preserving regional security and stability and deterring a potential attack.”

“It's not a question of age, because Trump remains energetic. It's a matter of focus and message discipline, because he [Donald Trump] has to convince the few remaining undecided voters that Harris is not only too liberal, but that he also has a real grasp on tackling problems that families are having today.”

“For the first time since the Cold War, we must genuinely fear for our self-preservation and the reason for a unified response has never been so compelling. Growth has been slowing down for a long time in Europe, but we've ignored [it]. Now we cannot ignore it any longer. Now conditions have changed: world trade is slowing, China is actually slowing very much and is becoming much less open to us … we've lost our main supplier of cheap energy, Russia. Europe must become a place where innovation flourishes. We could do much more if all these things were done as if we acted as a community.”

“When you break down the numbers, you realize there's 300,000 low-propensity, conservative-leaning votes in Arizona alone. When you're losing these states by 10,000 ballots or 20,000 ballots, you realize just how much potential there is if we do the work of engaging these voters beforehand.”

“Both Iran and Russia are severely sanctioned, and its that particular issue has brought the two countries closer together. Of course, Russia officially never comments on the Russian Iranian military cooperation, but of course, it does take place. For a long time, both countries have been discussing deliveries and supplies of Russian multi-role fighter jets and Su-35 to Iran. Also, Iran is interested in Russia's satellite technology, but talking about Ukraine, of course, it's widely known that Russia is using Iranian Shahed drone technology in its conflict with Ukraine to strike positions in the country. So, obviously the military cooperation between the two countries is going to continue.”

“I understand from Egyptian sources that there's a very small chance that Hamas will agree to the Israeli security plan, which is mostly focused on the Philadelphi Corridor, the 14-kiolmetre border road of Gaza and Egypt. Since it seems clear that Netanyahu is the reason why we're not able to reach an agreement, Hamas should probably consider a different strategy, and that's by putting down on the table an agreement that would appeal to the Israeli public to put pressure on the Israeli prime minister. The army and the intelligence say that Israel can withdraw from Gaza and end the war. The issue with the Philadelphi Corridor needs to be dealt with on the Egyptian side of the border, perhaps with American oversight to make sure the border is sealed. There needs to be an acceptable Palestinian control of the Rafah crossing with international supervision.”
