A  new poll revealed that an overwhelming 85% of Greenlanders oppose the idea of joining the United States, despite President Donald Trump's repeated interest in acquiring the territory. The survey also found that only 8% would choose American citizenship over a Danish passport. This strong preference for maintaining ties with Denmark comes as a boost for Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, who welcomed the results as a sign that many Greenlanders value continued close cooperation with Denmark.
