Hamdah Salhut “The latest developments will likely strain the Israeli military, which is already stretched thin, amid fears of an all-out regional war. Israeli reservists are operating in both the northern and southern parts of the country as Israel fights Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. If the air force is going to have to be additionally deployed to more parts of the Middle East like Yemen, it's tough to say how exactly they're going to manage that when they're looking still to recruit more people for the army. It's a lot of pressure on the Israelis as yet another front has opened this morning.” 6 hours ago

Yoav Gallant “The fire that is currently burning in Hodeidah is seen across the Middle East and the significance is clear. The Houthis attacked us over 200 times. The first time that they harmed an Israeli citizen, we struck them. And we will do this in any place where it may be required.” 6 hours ago

Izzat al-Rishq “The occupation state will undoubtedly be burned by the fire ignited in Hodeidah today, and the mounting Zionist crimes will change the entire equation.” 6 hours ago

“The UN commission of inquiry's report documenting alleged war crimes in Gaza is strong, compelling and very much expected. The report is unlikely to have an immediate effect on the conduct of Israel, which has so far been unphased by such reports, but could be used as evidence in future legal proceedings and give pause to Israel's donor countries. We have seen a shift in policies in Western capitals. This will be further evidence as to the intent and conduct of Israeli authorities. It will have to - and should - cause all capitals to consider the extent to which support is provided to Israel in the ongoing conflict.”

“The two leaders sought to put on a united face to the world in spite of the various crises they face. It was a show of strength, a show of unity, heralding what they believe and want other people to believe is a new era in their relations. It has all culminated in the signing of a new agreement between the two, which according to Putin forms the basis of relations for years to come.”
