  • Mahmoud Abbas
Mahmoud Abbas “We stand ready to work with you [Donald Trump] to achieve peace during you tenure. This would be guided by the two-state solution on international legitimacy. This vision seeks the establishment of the State of Palestine and the State of Israel living side by side in peace and security.” 1 hour ago
  • Craig Kennedy
Craig Kennedy “Moscow now faces a dilemma: the longer it puts off a ceasefire, the greater the risk that credit events - such as corporate and bank bailouts - uncontrollably arise and weaken Moscow's negotiating leverage.” 1 hour ago
  • Recep Tayyip Erdogan
Recep Tayyip Erdogan “As regards the issue of natural gas, Slovakia was disconnected from gas with termination of transit via Ukraine. We discussed this matter, we have the TurkStream gas pipeline. Let's make a step and discuss this topic at the level of energy ministers. The demand of Slovakia for natural gas should be satisfied. I suggested solving this issue through talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Mr. Putin. I hope we will be able to have communications, to start telephone diplomacy as early as this week.” 2 hours ago
  • Emmanuel Macron
Emmanuel Macron “The challenge after the fighting ends will be to provide Ukraine with guarantees against any return to war on its territory and guarantees for our own security.” 2 hours ago
  • Yara Hawari
Yara Hawari “While the Gaza ceasefire is a positive step the danger to the occupied West Bank from an Israeli invasion continues to rise. It's brought about a huge amount of relief that the bombardment will stop, but I think crucially the ceasefire does not mean an end to the occupation neither in Gaza or the West Bank. So people are under no illusion that this means an end to Israeli control over their lives. I think people are pessimistic as to whether the ceasefire will actually hold because they know the Israeli regime is already trying to sabotage it. The situation in the occupied West Bank remains as precarious as ever. We saw a year of genocide in Gaza go unchecked so the big question is could they do the same in the West Bank? I'm afraid without accountability measures the answer is yes.” 6 hours ago
  • Joe Biden
Joe Biden “These are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing. Baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety and financial security of targeted individuals and their families. The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense. Our nation owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.” 7 hours ago
  • Ali Jarbawi
Ali Jarbawi “Hamas's parades through Gaza on Sunday are more than a message to the international community that it is in control. They also reflect the reality on the ground. Hamas was there before the war and they're there now.” 17 hours ago
  • Ibrahim Madhoun
Ibrahim Madhoun “The message is that Hamas is 'the day after' for the war. They're conveying that Hamas must be a part of any future arrangements, or at least, be coordinated with.” 17 hours ago

“Iran proxies have been substantially degraded, and this has an unquestionable impact on the Assad regime's ground forces. Iran itself, which has come off worse in its direct military exchanges with Israel, may also be more cautious to step in or allow its proxies to step in as well. The real challenge to Syrian regime forces is the lack of willingness so far by Iran as the patron of Hezbollah and Russia to deploy military assets and air power to bail out the regime as it did before.”

“Every day there are more people on the streets. And more importantly, there is real dissent growing in the country. In the state institutions, where people are resigning, or protesting, or signing petitions. We are confronting something very new and we are part of something very new that is happening also geopolitically, I would say, where Russia not winning easily over Ukraine over these past two and a half years is now trying to win over the European Union with electoral war. I would say it's an electoral war. They have carried this electoral war in Georgia and we are fighting against it with constitutional means. They're fighting the same electoral war in Romania. And they fought it in Moldova…So it's a strategy of Russia.”

“Any violation of the law will be met with the full rigor of the law. Neither will those politicians who hide in their offices and sacrifice members of their violent groups to severe punishment escape responsibility. Georgia's European integration had not been halted. The only thing we have rejected is the shameful and offensive blackmail, which was, in fact, a significant obstacle to our country's European integration.”

“We have real concerns about the designs and objectives of that organization. At the same time, of course, we don't cry over the fact that the Assad government, backed by Russia, Iran and Hezbollah, are facing certain kinds of pressure.”

“Invitation to NATO cannot be extended to only a portion of Ukrainian land. This is an automatic recognition that all other areas are not only in danger, but also do not belong to Ukraine. Ukraine will never do this. If this is an invitation, please include all territories. However, we understand that Article 5 [of the North Atlantic Treaty], if we are a member of NATO, cannot apply to the entire Ukrainian territory, because countries are opposed to the risks of being involved in the fight.”

“The Israeli military has deliberately targeted law enforcement and those who work in protecting and securing delivery of aid into Gaza since the beginning of the war. This has created a power vacuum, throwing the whole Strip into lawlessness. There is no law or order, creating mayhem across Gaza. The suspension of UNRWA's operations of delivery of aid to a much needed population is a byproduct of ongoing attacks on UNRWA, its facilities and partners - the World Central Kitchen was attacked yesterday. Employees do not feel safe in the facilities or on the ground, moving trucks from one area to another.”

“This month, the European Union will provide Ukraine with an additional 4,2 billion euros to support the Ukrainian budget. On top of this, starting next month, we plan to provide, for a full year, every month, 1,5 billion euros of assistance. This money comes from the proceeds of Russia's frozen assets and can also be used for military purposes.”
