“The US is not projecting strength under [Biden's] leadership, and it's harming Israel and other countries. He said 'Don't' at the start of the war - to Hezbollah, as well as Iran. We saw the result. If I were an American citizen with the right to vote, I'd vote for Trump and Republicans.”

“The return of Crimea is absolutely unrealistic. Before the failure of Ukraine's counteroffensive last summer there was a chance to return the annexed peninsula had Ukrainian forces reached the Azov Sea and started shelling the Crimean bridge and the Kerch Strait that divides the Azov and Black seas. But now it's hardly real to penetrate Russian defence farther than the takeover of the Kinburn peninsula.”

“The United States has unveiled a large-scale aid bill for Ukraine while also making groundless accusations against normal trade between China and Russia. This kind of approach is extremely hypocritical and utterly irresponsible, and China is firmly opposed to it.”
“In recent years, though the United States has never found any evidence of TikTok posing a threat to U.S. national security, it has never stopped going after TikTok.”
“[We] are only issuing a warning to the perpetrators. China would firmly smash the Taiwan authorities' illusion of gaining independence through the US. We urge the US to do some earnest reflection, and immediately correct its mistakes.”
“I have noted those remarks of the US side. We deplore and reject Secretary Blinken's statement. Since China and the US established diplomatic ties in 1979, US administrations, including the current one, have all clearly stated that they would adhere to the one-China policy. The China-US Joint Communiqué on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations and the August 17 Communiqué clearly noted that 'the United States of America recognized the Government of the People's Republic of China as the sole legal government of China, and it acknowledged the Chinese position that there is but one China and Taiwan is part of China.' In the Shanghai Communiqué, the U.S. side also declared that 'The United States acknowledges that all Chinese on either side of the Taiwan Strait maintain there is but one China and that Taiwan is a part of China. The United States Government does not challenge that position.' The US admits that Taiwan is part of China, but keeps talking about the mainland's potential aggression of Taiwan. Isn't this self-contradictory since a country can not 'invade' part of its own territory? The US leadership has stated on multiple occasions that the US does not support 'Taiwan independence'. However, the US side has not stopped selling arms to and having official contact with Taiwan, which have sent wrong signals to 'Taiwan independence' forces. We have this stern warning for the US side: The historical trend of China's reunification cannot be held back, and the one-China principle is what underpins peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. The US side shall not underestimate the strong resolve, determination and capability of the 1.4 billion Chinese people in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Reneging on the commitment will push Taiwan to dangerous waters and bring unbearable cost to the US itself.”
“We call on all parties to return to the path of diplomatic negotiations and a political settlement as soon as possible. We also suggest undertaking a comprehensive settlement of the Ukraine problem through negotiations and consultations. We call on all parties concerned to demonstrate calmness and restraint and to avoid further escalation.”
“China once again urges the US government and relevant parties to … stop arms sales to Taiwan and sever military ties with Taiwan. China will continue to take all necessary measures to firmly safeguard its sovereignty and security interests in accordance with the development of the situation.”
“President Xi Jinping will have a virtual summit with President Putin on December 15, Beijing time. The two heads of state will take stock of the bilateral relations and cooperation outcomes over this year, make top-level design for the relations next year, and exchange views on major international and regional issues of common concern. We expect and believe that this video conference will further enhance our high-level mutual trust, vigorously promote China-Russia close strategic coordination and the robust development of all-round practical cooperation. This will provide more stability and positive energy for the complex and fluid international landscape.”
“First I'd like to say that the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Nicaragua is a political decision, not a bargaining chip. Nicaragua made this political decision based on its recognition of the one-China principle. There is no economic precondition. China highly appreciates its position. I want to add that the resumption of diplomatic ties opens broad prospects for the development of bilateral relations. The two sides will conduct all-round mutually-beneficial cooperation on the basis of the one-China principle.”
“The US, Australia, Britain and Canada's use of the Olympic platform for political manipulation is unpopular and self-isolating, and they will inevitably pay the price for their wrongdoing.”
“The visit of the relevant members of the US Congress gravely violates the one-China principle and the stipulations of the three China-US joint communiques. China firmly opposes this and has lodged solemn representation with the US side. We ask the US side to immediately stop all forms of official interactions with Taiwan and avoid sending wrong signals to the Taiwan independence separatist forces, lest it should seriously undermine China-US relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. We urge the relevant US lawmakers to get a clear understanding of the situation: it is a dangerous game to collude with Taiwan independence forces, and joining the Taiwan independence forces in playing with fire will only get oneself burnt. All adventurist and provocative moves to confront the trend of China's reunification is like an ant trying to topple a giant tree and will end up in failure.”
“There is only one China in the world and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. The one-China principle is a universally recognized norm of international relations and universal consensus of the international community. Upholding the one-China principle is the overriding trend with strong popular support. We want to admonish the Taiwan authorities that Taiwan independence leads to a dead end, dollar diplomacy is rejected by all, and all attempts to reverse the historical trend by soliciting foreign support are bound to fail.”
“The Defense Department report, just like similar reports in the past, disregards facts and is filled with bias. The US is using this report to hype up the 'China nuclear threat' theory. The international community has long seen through this trick of manipulating rhetoric in an attempt to confuse public opinion. As a matter of fact, the top source of nuclear threat in the world is no other but the US itself. According to statistics of relevant international think tanks, by the beginning of 2021, the US actually owned 5,550 nuclear warheads. Despite possessing the world's largest and most advanced nuclear arsenal, the US is still investing trillions of dollars to upgrade its 'nuclear triad', developing low-yield nuclear weapons, and lowering the threshold for using nuclear weapons.”
“Actions speak louder than words. What we need in order to deal with climate change is concrete action rather than empty words. China's actions in response to climate change are real.”
“Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. The Taiwan question is purely China's internal affairs that allow no foreign interference. On issues that bear on China's sovereignty, territorial integrity and other core interests, no one shall expect China to make any compromise or trade-offs. No one should underestimate the resolve, the will and the ability of the Chinese people to defend their national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Do not stand on the opposite side of the 1.4 billion people. We urge the US to earnestly abide by the one-China principle and stipulations in the three China-US joint communiques, be prudent with its words and actions on the Taiwan question, and avoid sending wrong signals to the 'Taiwan independence' separatist forces, lest it should seriously damage China-US relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.”
“China attaches great importance to the announcement by the Taliban of the establishment of an interim government and some important personnel arrangements. This has ended more than three weeks of anarchy in Afghanistan and is a necessary step to restore order and rebuild the country.”
“The Chinese embassy in Afghanistan is an important channel for China-Afghanistan exchanges. The embassy is in normal operation. China sincerely hopes all parties of Afghanistan can echo the eager aspiration of the Afghan people and common expectation of the international community, build an open and inclusive political structure, adopt moderate and prudent domestic and foreign policies, make a clear break with terrorist organizations in all forms and live in good terms with all countries, especially neighboring countries. The new Afghan government is not formed yet, which we are following closely.”
“We want to solemnly inform the EU not to underestimate Chinese people's resolute, strong capability and firm willingness to safeguard national sovereignty and integrity and stop all provocations and confrontational moves.”
“Afghanistan is an independent sovereign country. The US and its allies should learn from the past experience, and deeply reflect upon and act prudently on Afghanistan-related issues. The international community should encourage and work for the positive developments of the Afghan situation, support peace and reconstruction in Afghanistan, and assist the nation to improve people's livelihood and enhance its ability to achieve self-development. Wantonly slapping sanctions and exerting pressure solves no problem and will only be counterproductive. China holds that while promoting steady transition of Afghan situation and reconstruction, it is necessary for the international community to consider how to prevent such acts as military intervention in other countries under the pretext of democracy from happening again. We should not allow the tragedy that Afghan people and the international community, regional countries in particular, to pay for the mistake made by certain country to happen again.”
“We firmly oppose any external forces interfering in China's internal affairs under the pretext of Xinjiang-related issues. We also hope that relevant parties will not be deceived by the lies about the so-called forced labor. No matter what kind of packaging or excuse the US uses, it will not be able to cover up lies. The essence of lies and rumors is doomed to fail. I also want to tell you that the desperate efforts to stigmatize and suppress Xinjiang cotton have made it known to more consumers and become an important name card of Xinjiang agricultural products.”
